People who have never experienced diving can try it out at Cha Cha; Discover Scuba Course is half day course and consists of three parts. First, we conduct a short lecture on the beach, discussing equipment and how to dive safely. Second, we build your confidence through a practice session in shallow water. Finally, we take our new divers to explore the amazing corals and fish of Bunaken National Marine Park.

All divers that have not dived within the last six months are required by PADI to complete a Refresher course conducted by an instructor before they are allowed to dive within a dive group.

Got the bug and want to learn to dive? This course gives you the skills and certification card you need to dive in any ocean in the world, so why not learn in one of the worlds most biodiverse seas.
Cha Cha instructors with, 1000's of dives, love to teach new divers how to enjoy diving, and how to be a safe and confident diver. We don't rush you, but take each new skill at your pace so you can learn how to dive without stress or pressure. We also take time in explaining the fragility of the reefs and how as a diver you must respect them and all marine life. The course includes four open water dives, academic lessons, and confined water training.
Who can dive?
Anyone as long as you are in good health, reasonably fit and comfortable in the water. You must be older 14 years of age to begin the PADI Open Water Diver Course. For those of you who are not above the age of 14 and would like to participate in the PADI Open Water Diver Program, then the PADI Jr Open Water Diver program is available to you. If you are between 10 and 14 or have a child between these ages, there is a PADI Junior Open Water Diver program available.
What will I do?
Throughout the course, you will learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You will gain your certification by completing 5 confined shallow water skill dives and knowledge development sessions and by making four open water dives, of course your instructor will be their at all times to ensure that you can complete the skills satisfactorily.
How long will it take?
3 to 4 days seems to be the average that we encounter, as you master the various skills, the course moves forward till it is completed. Patience and perseverance are the keys to success for you, our student and us, your instructors.
